The Shot Entertainment , an artist development and production company, was founded by Meredith DiMenna and Liz Gallagher in, 2008 specializing in the development of actors, writers, directors, comedians, and creators. The Shot Entertainment managed the career of Baratunde Thurston (author of How to Be Black, Harper Collins), among others.

Meredith and Liz were Associate Producers on the short film, GLORY AT SEA, the directorial debut of Benh Zeitlin (dir. Beasts of the Southern Wild, 2012 Oscar nominee), which won the Wholphin Award at the SXSW Film Festival.  They also produced numerous comedic short films featuring Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Will Forte of Saturday Night Live.

Meredith also co-wrote and produced the animated short DEAR BEAUTIFUL, which won the Moving Pictures Magazine Short Film Contest and was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival.

Meredith produced all three segments of the GODFATHER MUSICAL whose episodes screened at the SXSW Film Festival, the Edinburgh Film Festival, winning “Best Comedy Short” at both the Ivy League Film Festival and the Swansea Bay Film Festival and were featured widely throughout the web including, and the front page of YouTube.
